The Navigator, besides being cute, is also smart. Controlled by intelligent software, it determines the best way to pass over and clean every section of the floor while avoiding all obstacles. It will alternatively use spiraling motions to clean concentrated areas, room crossing to ensure full cleaning coverage, or follow the walls to clean the full perimeter of the room while avoiding furniture and obstacles. With a thin design, it goes under standard size furniture (beds, dressers, etc.) to reach where dust accumulates, while the side brush thoroughly cleans the walls, corners and edges.
Do I need an engineering degree to operate the Navigator ? How does it work ?
The Navigator is a no-frills robot with essential features only, very easy to operate in a few steps : first make sure that the cleaner is fully charged, remove any loose items (such as small toy pieces, etc.) that might get caught in the brushes ; then place your vacuum on the floor, turn the power switch on and press the start button (S, L, M) of your choice. The Navigator has 3 modes : Spot mode that will let him clean during 5 min in one limited area , Mid-size mode, which will last around 30 min, ideal duration for a mid-sized room (15- 25 m2) and finally Large room mode, for 60 min. This mode is to be used in large rooms, over 25 m2.
Is your Navigator noisy ?
No. Our robot is one of the quietest on the market, it does not exceed 65 dB. ! And as it works autonomously, you can just walk away on him if you get tired of the humming.
Is the Navigator suitable for all types of floor ?
The Navigator can run on hardwood, linoleum, tile, concrete and other hard surfaces, as well as low to medium-pile carpets and rugs. Its self-adjusting cleaning head allows him to automatically traverse uneven floor transitions. Attention it is not recommended for shag, high pile carpet, or tassels.
Can the Navigator navigate through my rugs ?
Yes, the Navigator navigates rugs as well as regular floor. However, it will have difficulties working high-pile rugs or tassels.
Can the Navigator help clean my pets hair ?
If you have dogs (or cats, rabbits, etc.) who are better at shedding than at fetching, the Navigator will help you tiding up and removing hair and debris around the house. Remember to empty the dust container regularly.
How to recharge the Navigator ? How long does it take ?
Recharging the Navigator is very simple : the robot has a preinstalled rechargeable battery that has to be fully charged before you can use it for the first time. Simply switch off the robot and connect the round connector into the power port on the right side of the robot and the other end into a wall outlet. Recharging the battery takes about 4-5 hours. When the status light turns off, it means the vacuum is fully charged.
What's the autonomy of the Navigator ?
The robot will work around 30-60 min autonomously, cleaning a standard size room. Once the battery is weak, the battery life indicator will flash, indicating that charging is necessary.
Should I change the dust bags for my vacuum cleaner often ?
No! The Navigator doesn't use any dust bag. Simply empty the dust bin and clean the filter regularly to ensure its smooth operation.
What is the Virtual Wall ?
The virtual wall is a helpful tool to tell your vacuum where not to clean. You can create a boundary where one does not exist, and keep your vacuum from any area that you don’t want the vacuum to get near to.
How to maintain my Navigator ?
Your robot is naturally clean and requires very little maintenance. However, as it spends a lot of time in the dirt all day long, it can become a little grungy. Give him a once-over regularly, emptying the dust container (ideally after each cleaning session) and cleaning the filter, the brushes, vacuum inlet lid and obstacle sensors. Do refrain from giving him a bath. A cleaning tool is provided with the Navigator (remember to always turn the power off before starting any grooming operation).
Be sure to use the adapter that came with your robot, and as always, keep it away from heat sources and flammable materials as well as from water and other liquids. Remember to remove the battery from the robot and the virtual wall when you are not going to use them for a long period, and do not approach your eyes from UV and infrared emitters when they are on.
Can the Navigator be used as a toy ?
However pet-like it may seem, we recommend that children be properly supervised and do not adopt it as a toy in order to avoid any accident and to guarantee him a longer life.

Does the Navigator have a guarantee ?
Yes, Paranello provides a 1 year guarantee from the date of reception of the product. The battery has a standard 6 months warranty.
